Naples
Stay:
Grand Hotel Oriente - A hotel in a perfect location. Being in a city location is of course everything and this hotel is close to the airport and walking distance to shopping, eats, and more ! I highly suggest spending one night in Naples. Two maximum. It’s not the cleanest city but Nicholas and I really enjoyed our time exploring the town and eating some of the most incredible food. The hotels room is very clean. Be sure to grab a cocktail before hitting the town for dinner because the spread they offer is amazing and the drinks are incredible. We were so impressed ! Also catch sunrise on the rooftop with a coffee. You will see views of the city and a perfect view of mount Vesuvius. Highly recommend this hotel.
Food:
Con Mollica o Senza - THE sandwich shop !!! Worth every bite. We only waited in a small line for about 15 minutes (heard the line can get very long!) and got to order our sandys. I seriously don’t know what they put in these things but Nicholas ate the entire sandwich. I had about a quarter left that’s how good they are !!!!! If you need some more convincing – just check out their Instagram so you understand the hype.
Centrale del caffe - When walking around the city, we stumbled upon this really great espresso bar. They are about 2 Euro and they are served with sparkling water on tap. So fun. We then shopped and walked around but ended up coming back here later in the day for a little post shopping spritz and negroni. SO yum.
All’Antico Vinaio -
The Focaccia sandwich that found its fame in Florence has a location in Naples as well. Worth grabbing one to try the fresh bread. The pistachio spread… say less !
Concettina Ai Tre Santi - A popular pizzeria on the Island of Capri and in the city of Naples. Its got a luxury feel to it. Make a reservation because they are very strict on who they let in ! Really yummy selection of pizzas. We ordered about 5 different items to try everything. Sharing plates is the best way to do it !
