South of France
NICE:
BEACHES/BEACH CLUBS:
NAOS BEACH -
CASTEL PLAGE -
PLAGE COCO BEACH -
LA VILLE FRANCHE - Took the train to this little town to experience the cutest breakfast and small town vibes.
EATS:
BOZZI NICE (CROISSATNS AND COFFEE) -
I know France will obviously have incredible croissants almost everywhere – but these were a fan favorite!! (They came so warm and were a 10/10)
LE PLONGEOIR (COCKTAILS) - This restaurant clearly deserves hype just based on the pictures. however, the food didn’t live up to the cocktails which leads me to say that it’s a perfect spot to grab a spritz and enjoy sunset while listening to music and the ocean waves. If you do not have A reservation, you are not allowed on the rooftop part of the restaurant so if that’s important to you, then by all means make a reservation ! My friend and I didn’t even have one because they are hard to get so we waited about an hour and a half but it was fine because we got to drink and chat!
DI PIU NICE - YUMMY Italian. Truffle pasta and pizza were incredible.
NOBU MONTE CARLO - Experiencing Nobu in different parts of the world is something I enjoy so much ! each locatio has such a different vibe and sometimes offers different specials. We opted to sit outside and got to see all of the Monte Carlo mega yachts come into the harbor. It was a very fun experience. Haha !
LA GRATTA - Right next to Plage Coco Beach is a panini pop up and it was so yummy ! The perfect beach snack in case you forgot to pack them ! Also, I tried looking for hours for the cutest home boutique located right next to la gratta and can’t find the name, BUT if you are facing the pop up shop and turn to your right, there should be a mini boutique about 100 feet from your location with the cutest items !! (picture for reference below).
SHOPPING:
METROPOLE SHOPPING MONTE-CARLO
ST TROPEZ:
EATS:
CIPRIANI - One of the best Italian restaurants. High end – it was so much fun to dress up and see all of the outfits everyone else was wearing. Everything on the menu was incredible. Make a reservation and 100% order ice cream for dessert. It’s so much fun !
DIOR CAFÉ - As “instagrammable” as this place is…It really is fun to sit and people watch while sipping a $30 latte ! Think of it as once in a lifetime !
LE CAFE ST. TROPEZ - A great place for dinner ! Located right in the heart of St. Tropez
LAUDUREE macaroons of course - Must go !!!
STAY:
HOTEL TARTANE - This hotel was the perfect place to be. It is smaller, but has a beautiful pool area, amazing bar and food with a great staff. The rooms are immaculate and the bed was one of the best hotel beds I have experienced! The hotel offers a taxi service to take you into town and pick you up so you do not have to find a taxi or anything of that sort.
BEACH CLUB:
LE CLUB 55 (AND YOU BETTER EAT HERE) - Put this on your bucket list. I really only knew about this place based on pictures I had seen online but once you go, you will understand how amazing this place is. BRING TOWELS if you plan on laying on the beach as well as eating. Otherwise, they will charge a pretty penny for towels. You don’t need to dress up for lunch but I did feel VERY under-dressed coming in my beach coverup and trucker hat post-beach day… I would recommend coming here for lunch THEN heading to the beach to lay out. Order the artichoke (been dreaming about it since the day I ate it) and order fish! Everything on the menu is delicious and in French so thanks to Iphones we used the translator app!
NIKKI BEACH - The iconic Nikki beach in St. Tropez… what an experience. The vibes were a 10/10 the second you enter the beach club. We reserved a cabana bed and then ate and drank our way into the late afternoon when the DJ comes on and the entire pool/beach club turns into one big party. So much fun !
