SAN JOSE DEL CABO -
STAY:
JW MARRIOTT - The JW is HUGE but let me tell you, it is clean, neat, has incredible staff, and amazing food. The rooms are extremely large and each offers a balcony. I have stayed here numerous times and I keep telling friends and family that the only place to stay in San Jose is this hotel. The breakfast buffet is the only buffet i CRAVE weekly. Numerous pools (adult and kid friendly) with gorgeous views of the beach. This hotel is also in a great location for morning beach walks.
HOTEL EL GANZO - If you aren’t particular about being right on the beach, stay at this smaller hotel and experience San Jose by the harbor! Rooms are adorable and food and drinks are great !
MAR DEL CABO - This boutique hotel is owned by the Velas Collection. Designed to feel like you stepped into Greece, you really feel like you are on vacation here. Upon arrival, you are greeted with a hibiscus tea and taken to your beautiful hotel room. I loved how small the hotel was because it was quiet at night. In a great location for walking the beach, swimming, and enjoying the very large hotel pool. Cocktails and drinks were great !
CABO SAN LUCAS:
CABO SURF HOTEL - A boutique hotel that is BEAUTIFUL. If you are a surfer and are looking to wake up and literally get out of bed, walk downstairs, and surf – this place is for you. With morning yoga, breakfast, and surfing – not much can beat it ! The spa services are wonderful. I got a massage here back in 2016 and I still talk about it. Another great thing about this hotel is its price point. It offers SO much for a great price.
MONTAGE - This is the hotel I got engaged at so I’m slightly obsessed. The hotel has private gates upon entrance and is located in a cove which is super nice in Cabo because it blocks so much wind. The aesthetic alone of this hotel is something I could talk about all night but the main focus is the stay which is luxurious and relaxing.
HILTON LOS CABOS - A hotel that is again, very aesthetic, welcoming, and located right on the water.
LAS VENTANAS (A ROSEWOOD HOTEL) - I haven’t personally stayed here but I have stayed at some Rosewood hotels and if this is anything comparable... your experience will be once in a lifetime !
WALDORF - Another hotel that is high on the list to stay at. Extremely beautiful and many friends and family have given great feedback !
EATS:
THE OFFICE ON THE BEACH - Although this may seem like a tourist trap, I actually really enjoy each and every meal I have eaten here. Starting off with the margaritas that are the size of a soccer ball (ha!) you will enjoy every minute ! Fresh tortillas, music, vibes, and a dang good time !!! Make a reservation if you can. Also, I prefer lunch here because you can pop over to Mango Deck (be warned – its giving spring break) and watch the push up contest, and so much more…
TAMARINDOS - Farm to table restaurant! Super yummy and absolutely beautiful. I had a friend get married here back in 2022 and it was so beautiful.
LA LUPITA (SAN JOSE LOCATION) - Best tacos you will ever eat. Come here hungry because you will leave FULL. The black bean soup is actually one of my favorites too. Order the Hibiscus margarita – I promise it’s amazing. I prefer dinner here because either before or after you can walk in the town of San Jose and grab a cocktail or do some shopping. My favorite !
FLORA FARMS - I CAN TALK ABOUT FLORA FARMS FOR YEARS. Before Nicholas and I chose Italy as our wedding destination, Flora Farms was our #1 venue based on the food and drinks alone! If there’s a way I could convince you to visit here, I would book a flight for 24 hours just to eat here. It’s a seasonal restaurant but everything on the menu I promise is amazing. Make a reservation and whatever time that reservation is at, show up an hour early, grab a drink, and walk around the property – it’s absolutely beautiful. If you see a dog with an orange bandana named Zoka – give him a pet for me !
SAGE - Love love loved this restaurant. The menu is extremely tasty but I recommend ordering a lot for the entire table to share. Every plate is prepared with such beauty and intention. It’s incredible (and aesthetic!) If you are getting married in Cabo – I heavily considered a rehearsal dinner here.
IL FORNO -
If you are craving an Italian dinner – head here for some great pizza and pasta inside of a beautiful restaurant.
SUNSET MONALISA - For the best sunset experience, come to this cliffside restaurant. Nicholas and I always come here for a cocktail around 5pm and then order some appetizers while watching the sun disappear after listening to the staff make a “call” to let everyone know the sun is going down. It’s truly an experience. You don’t NEED a reservation if you are just grabbing drinks but the dinner is a coursed meal and separate.
PIETROS RESTAURANT AND PIZZA - Another yummy Italian restaurant !
EL HUERTO - I have yet to experience this farm to table but I’ve heard that I need to ASAP !!!
EL MAESTRO - This is a super small cigar lounge but it’s a fun experience !
